There is a growing need for contact with nature especially by those who live in the city. If you are looking for a rural site away from the frenetic routine of the city, to decontaminate and connect with nature, this is the place. It will make you feel better, livelier and happier. There are several studies that proove the beneficial effects on our immune system, on the secretion of stress hormones, etc. But even without any scientific demonstration, just sit in our garden, look at the mountains and see the positive effect it produces on yourself.

Abatetxe is an off grid farmhouse . We have spring water that comes from the mountain which suffices all our needs, heating with a biomass boiler and photovoltaic solar energy for self-consumption of electricity, which soon we will integrate with a wind turbine. This not only makes Abatetxe a sustainable house from the environmental point of view, but also wants to be a feasible example of the use of renewable energy for our guests. We have developed Abatetxe Guesthouse whilst keeping in mind our carbon footprint and wherever possible have minimised our impact on our lovely planet.

Digital Detox option

We propose this totally optional free experience that consists of leaving locked in a box all your digital devices (phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) throughout your stay or part of it. The goal is to disconnect from the virtual network to reconnect with the reality that surrounds us, with nature and with the people we have at our side. It's more difficult than you think... are you brave enough?
